This was father’s plane. I have a piece of both the B 17 and the ME109 that collided with his plane. I have been trying to obtain his crew members names. I know his tail gunner was William Sadler.

Good evening Duian, I am a local historian in the area where your father’s plane was damaged on April 7, 1945. The German pilot was Lt Hans Nagel, who crashed in his Me 109 BF G/K. His grave is in the ESSEL war cemetery. I would be happy to hear back. With best regards, Thomas Helbig
