A good friend of mine John mericole flew 28 missions in this plane as a bombadere , the stories he told were spectatculer ! He even had the bomb tags from the bombs he dropped over germany with the names of the targets written on them along with what he called a piece of damn german potmetal about the size of a golf ball which hit him in hie flack vest and knocked him across the plane ! RIP John and thanks for your service!!
