My high school chemistry teacher was Fred Zusselman (navigator). Great man, and he had great stories about his time in the Air Corps. Michael, please post crew photo if you have it. Thanks

The picture I submitted to the website shows the name “Arkansas Rambler” however the tail number is diffrent than this posting. I can send you the photo if you want to provide your email address.

hi Michael. can you tell me your grandfather’s name? Reason I ask is because my grandpa ALSO took a picture with his crew in front of this plane. I am wondering if they were in the same crew or if multiple crews took pictures in front of this same airplane. I don’t know how to post it in this forum but My grandpa was David P Jones. he was the pilot and flew 24 missions beginning in January of ’45.

Does anyone know who named the Arkansas Rambler and what town he was from? I have the Fort smith Air Museum in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
