I worked with Chas Felker at the Pentagon in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He told me he was a tail gunner on a B-17, and his plane was shot down in 1945. That’s all I know. Can anyone please tell me more about the plane, the mission, what happened to the crew? Were they captured? Sent to a Stalag Luft POW camp? If so, for how long and when were they liberated? Thank you for any information!
