I have the Indiviual Deceased Personnel Files for four members of the crew and have requested one for your great uncle, Rodock. I just got them and have not read through all of them yet, but they might help you piece together what happened to your great uncle. I could email them to you. They are pdf files. My grandfather William R Scott (whom I’m fairly certain is in this photo here front row first from left) from what I could find flew 6 of his 25 missions on Henn’s Revenge with the last happening on April 7, 1945. I had heard a story from my father that grandpa had said he was supposed to be on a mission where for whatever reason someone last minute had taken his place and the bomber did not make it back. I wonder if this is that story. If true he (and we) was incredibly fortunate.
