Was hit by flak and than mid-air-collision with B-17 #43-37859 ‘Jeanne’.


Ship 873 was hit by flak over target. Was a bit higher than wing ship. It pulled out to the left and hit aircraft 859. Tail section came off and it went into a spin. It then leveled off for a shot time and then disappeared. Altitude was 24500 feet when hit.
