Delivered Albuquerque Strategic Arms Depot 6-May-41; Hickham Field, HI 17-Oct-41; Assigned 93BS/19BG Clark Field, PI 20-Oct-41 with Bill Bohnaker, Ed Jacquet, Art Hoffman, Jim Wellwood, Bob Peel, Abe Beerman, Fred Shamblen, Jean Byers, Ben Tomerlin; Missing in Action Masbate, Philippines. 14-Jan-42 with Jack Adams, Navigator: Harry Schreiber, rest unknown but survived aided by Filipinos, RTD Mar-42; shot down by Japanese fighters, crash landed Masbate, Legaspi but later destroyed by Japanese strafing. Never served in the UK.
