Cheyenne 2/3/44; Hunter 21/3/44; Grenier 10/4/44; Assigned Soxo, t/o Goose Bay en route Meeks Fd, crash landed on frozen Lake Melville about 30 miles from Goose Bay, with Aubrey Alexander, Co-pilot: Horace Peppard, Navigator: Phil Lerner, Bombardier: Herb Monsky, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Jack Comer, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Ray Belford, Radio Operator: Bill Dyer, Radio Operator: Walter Lockerbie, Waist gunner: Melvin Kuntz,Tail gunner: Bob Bowie (10 Killed in Service), the wreckage found later by a Norseman spotter plane, 19/4/44.
