My grandfather was a radio operator aboard a B-17, but I don’t know which plane he was a crew member for. How can I find that information? I know the bomb group/bomb squadron he was part of.

My grandfather was the navigator on We Promised in 1944. I have 2 photographs, one of his crew (there were 3 crews total) and one of the plane with the pilot.
