Delivered Denver 1/2/43; Brookley 15/3/43; Assigned 429BS/2BG 20/4/43; (17m) Missing in Action Gerbini, It. 8/7/43 with Roy Kline, Co-pilot: Pat Maher, Bombardier: Ray Grace, Flight engineer/top turret gunner: Henry Wright, Radio Operator: Leo Cawdrey, Ball turret gunner: John Brown, Waist gunner: Don Kenyon, Waist gunner: Don Rosenow,Tail gunner: Rich Bruso (9 Killed in Action); Navigator: Edwin Kocher (Returned to Duty); shot down by enemy aircraft and crashed in Mediterranean, where Kocher was picked up by RN destroyer.
