The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress “Wolverine” of the 381st Bomb Group stationed at an 8th Air Force base near Ridgewell, Essex County, England, 3 November 1943.
Vapor trail footprints of the grim air battle over enemy occupied territory somewhere in Europe were left by a formation of 381st Bomb Group planes which roared over a few minutes before the Boeing B-17 “WOLVERINE”.
