For whatever it’s worth, B-17 42-31522, piloted by my father, George Perry, was shot down on a mission to Regensburg on February 22, 1943, not March 22.

Dale, I had the honor, privilege & pleasure of meeting your father many years ago. He shared with me many stories of my grandfather, Joe Joffrion, who was his original bombardier, but was reassigned to another ship for that fateful mission.
