B-17 42-3490 Details

A/C 42-3490 was noted to be having difficulty throughtout the penetration in keeping up with the formation. It was lagging to such extent that it joined the wing that was follwing. No indication of any trouble other than that previously mentioned appeared. All eingines were in operation when it was last sighted joining the formation of another wing and no chutes were seen to leave this aircraft.
