The enemy Fighter, from the 3 Group of the 11 JG startet at Husum to chase the Boomerang Barbara. The fight continue´t over the danish Town of Assens / Fyn island. The FW 190 A7 run out of fuel and crashlandet near the town of Christiansfeldt on the Mainland, about 10 minutes later.
We still getting items from the chrashsite, no doubt that it was an mit air explosion.
the lokal Arkiv Museum Vestfyn has original pictures from the incident, and a picture of A. Alcarese at the hospital in Assens.
