My Dad, Capt Jesse O. Johnson captained the Ernt Mernt in 1943. Stationed in N Africa. Completed 50 bombing missions, taking it to the bad guys. I have photos and a copy of his mission log book if you are interested. After WWII, he flew for Eastern Airlines until he had to retire at age 60. He passed away in 2006. A hero for sure!

I’m doing a model of a b-17 and my friends father flew in the Ernt Mernt… Which is what I am making the model. … any pictures of the plane would be greatly appreciated or any other kind of information.
