Alonzo Paul was my father. He was the radio operator on Spook III. He was one of five children and did not have a twin. My previous post listed his parents and his siblings.

Waist Gunner Harry Lofton (real name Harold) was my great uncle and brother to my grandmother. He was from Eckerty, Indiana in the county of Crawford. His family nickname was Tommy, but I have never been able to learn why that is. I have learned he is credited with shooting down two planes while in action. We have his wings, a medal and pocket watch and another family member has one of his army hats. We also have the letter receieved about him being MIA on July 28th, 1943, the very day my mother was born. As I type this, today is that day.
