Hi,
Just wondering if anyone could tell me more about this remarkable bird? Im building a fortress now, the decals online are incorrect, frankly a bit vulgar, unfortunately the only pictures of her I have are black and white. Was she silver or green? She apparently flew 70 ops, and then not only took her crew home, but the 10 boys on the ground too. That deserves credit, thanks from uk.

Hi Jing, Yep, you are absolutely bang on, Anxious’ was indeed a G fort and bare metal or unpainted. Can’t help thinking that would make you vulnerable to staffing attacks. Based up in East Anglia you are pretty safe and out of range, in the day time anyways. I’d take the paint, anything to improve structural integrity! I believe the German Luftwaffe attacked an Airfield only once in England and destroyed one or more B-17. Don’t know if the attack was at daylight or night attack.
