    Sq letter should be E, 42-31224 ‘Helen Heaven’ is VK-F already. Thank you for this site, it is very interesting to research. As you have noted both aircraft were lost Aug 15 1944.

      Thank you. I have updated to VK-E. It’s also noted “E” in the MACR file. I did not checked this before.
