Correcting information. 1LT Robert W. Tappan was Aircraft Commander of this aircraft. Hyacinth Thimmesch was his Co-Pilot. They were shot down over Zossen, Germany and ended up as P.O.W’s two ME-262 shot the nose off the front of the aircraft and it crashed. I just thought you should know.
