Base on the book “Mighty by Sacrifice” by James L. Noles & James L. Noles, Jr, the crew returned after crashlanding with help of Marsal Tito’s partisans on 1 July 1944.

      Hello, no information available to the B-17. But it seams that the crew returned with help of Marsal Tito’s partisan.
