Interrogation Report from MACR 8433

On the left turn at the I.P. A/C No. 760 turned to sharply for A/C No. 328 to follow in formation. A/C No. 328 attempted to slide in to the right behind A/C No. 760, but was caught in the prop wash during this manuever and collided with A/C No. 123 who was flying a tight formation at the time. A/C No. 328 first struck A/C No. 123 with his wing on the No. 4 engine and then cut off the vertical stabiliser. A/C No. 123 then spiraled to the ground and crashed. Reports vary as to whether tha A/C caught fire or not.
