21 January 1944: flak hit set entire wing burning and aircraft plunged down, however the pilot maintained control and a vertical drive put out the fire, BTG salvoed bombs and acted as co-pilot with TG taking over as radio operator and plane returned to base, where it was repaired and put back into operation.
