Delivered Salt Lake Strategic Arms Depot (SAD) 8-Jan-41; Assigned 38RBS/19BG [aircraft 34], one of the aircraft arriving over Pearl Harbor 7-Dec-41 with Lt Karl Barthelmess, Lt Larry Sheehan, Lt Chas Bergdoll, Avn Cdt John Adams, T/Sgt Roy Coulter, S/Sgt Nick Kahlefent, S/Sgt Lee Embree, Sgt Vance Spears, Cpl Ray Joslin; used for Gen McArthur’s rescue attempt 25-Mar-42; transferred 40BS/7BG, then 65BS/43BG Wheeler; then transferred 54 Troop Carrier Wing Nov-43. Salvaged in Brisbane, Australia. 14-Oct-44. Never served in the UK.
