I found the plane 8 July 2018. Exactly to the day they crashed! Now I am trying to locate is remains, which, I feel are at the crash site. More to come!!

My grandfather was the co-pilot on that B-17. He jumped out as it was spiraling down and he survived. He was captured and spent 15 months in a German POW camp, later to reunite with family in the USA after the war. Did you ever find any parts from the plane? Can you share with me the coordinates to the crash site?
