I believe that may be my Mom, “New York Nora”, on the B17 Nose art for Nora II. Looks exactly like her and she had told me in the 60’s that a WWII flyer had her painted on a bomber. She corresponded with him (and several others during the war) but married an Artillery officer later instead. She was a model at Lord & Taylor in NYC (had many young officers propose to her) then later joined the Navy WAVES to do her bit for the nation.
