I worked with Fred Bewack sat us steel 50 years ago. (I was just in my 20s) One of the guys took him duck hunting, and he kept missing the ducks. Asked, “How far are you leading them”? Fred replied, “20 feet”

My Great Uncle was Tech Sargent Kenneth Vincent Meyer the Tail Gunner on Old Bill. He was KIA July 14, 1943 as the Tail Gunner on the Windy City Challenger. I have an audio tape by the navigator Charles Otis who survived the Windy City Challenger describing the crews last day and moments on the mission #73. I have all my uncles metals, patches and a large assortment of artifacts.
