This plane „Flat Foot Floogie“ was the borrowed plane that my Dad and crew was shot down in. His original plane, „Smilin‘ Through“ had been shot up on a previous mission and was under repair. According to records Flat Foot Floogie was shot down a week after the photo was taken.
