Die B-17 #063 wurde gesehen, wie sie in der Nähe von Frankfurt aus der Formation abdrehte. Das Flugzeug war noch unter Kontrolle, als es zuletzt gesehen wurde. Es wurde berichtet, dass zehn Fallschirme gesehen wurden.

Hi Dan, I am intensively involved in writing a book about the history of the German Luftwaffe night fighter-wing (II./Nacht-Jagd-Geschwader 1). Because Hptm. von Bonin, Oblt. Walter Barte and Lt. Hans Witzke claiming the B-17 “Picklepuss”, I would be very interested to use some photos in my book.
