I adopted the name of William R. Brown on the Wall of the Missing at Margraten Cemetery. I’m looking for any information regarding William and the crash. If you have any information besides the Missing Aircraft Report I would be very interested!

Hi… my name is Bill Grody. I was named after my father’s brother, Bill, who was shot down in WWII on that plane.
I believe you may have already heard from/met my first cousin, Wayne William Grody, MD, PhD.
I have searched online many times for a possible photo of that plane and its entire crew. Although I think that I may have found it just now, somehow I inadvertently lost it before I could save it.
If such a photo exists, I would love to get a copy of it to share with Wayne, et al.. Wayne & I are now in our early 70s.
Thank you beyond thanks for your years of dedication to so many who were lost fighting for freedom, and specifically for our “Uncle Bill”. Although we never knew him, as one of our respective father’s brothers, we have known him our entire lives.
Best personal regards,
Bill
