William “Bill” Ashbury Rush was my grandfather (moms dad) that passed a month before I was born in ‘80. I have books that show your dad and the rest of the crew at the house and I’m always looking for more information.

My grandfather flew Co-Pilot for 2 missions in March 44. Bill Mayer is just a blip but part of the history of this ship. Are there any photos of her? I’m revamping my book for republication and would like to include her.

I’d be interested in any photos. I just found a ‘Lucky Bastard’ certificate for my grandfather, Archie F Hunt. It says he was an engineer gunner for Donna Lou II

Hey, just stumbled across this site. Archie was my dad- I have the ‘Lucky Bastard’ certificate becca mentions above. I would dearly love to have a copy of that mission list. I have copies of some of the orders he received.
