As a 12 yr old boy, my father remembers waiting every Saturday afternoon for Pot o Gold to return to Moonshine Gap, Poddington Airfield. He and his pals used to wait for the plane to arrive at its dispersal point and wave to the crew who always said hi to them. My dad is now 92 and this is one of his fondest memories and favourite stories to tell.

Amazing to hear Jayne. My grandfather was on that plane and was taken as a POW when it crashed in Denmark.
