My great uncle was TSgt Ferman Wilson, waist gunner and Armorer aboard the Homesick Angel. I remember my grandmother telling me about him (her brother) being shot down over Germany by a FW190.

My mom uncle was also onboard when it was shoot down, he was soupouse to be the navigator but was moved to the nose of the plane for this mission, he ended up falling out without a parachute.
