I am researching Fred T. Maddox for our Henry County Tennessee Archives. Mr. Maddox was in the 711th bomb squadron, 447th bomb group, KIA on 3/16/1944. The only plane shot down that day from the 447th was 42-32096 but the MACR does not show Mr. Maddox having been on the crew of this plane.
He is listed on your website but with no further info other than the date of being KIA and his unit. If anyone has other info about what aircraft and crew he was with on the date of his death, I would appreciate it.
