Lt Wilson ship was last seen at 10:54 whem no. 2 engine was hit by flak. It pulled out of formation and was seen to salve his bombs. Its inboard engine was feathered , but was under control when it turned away.

My father, John J. Daly was the bombadier on the plane. When captured, spent the remainder of the war in Stalag Luft 1 POW Camp for officers of the allied forces. Liberated by the Russian military in May 1945.
