Cousin of my dad Carl Winkler..Kearney Nebraska..I have a photo of Raymond ,Carl,George and Eddie Winkler in Kearney…circa 1940,,,Carl served in 1944…18 yrs by then..Navy ..LSM. medic…South Pacific..etc…A letter Sister in law mailed to Raymond Winkler..around Feb 1944 323rd. sq…91st. bomb group was returned….stamped on the front….Reported Missing….the bad news came a short time later….I have the letter
