My father (Bruce O. Bentley, Sr) was the radio operator during the “Honey” last flight in November ’44. All crew bailed out and survived (one crew member suffered a broken ankle (?). My Dad reported they stayed in Belgium for several days (at least) since the AAF didn’t seem to be in a rush to get crews back on duty. That was Dad’s 30th mission, he did 5 more before being discharged.

Bruce, I am writing a book about one of your dad’s crewmates and would appreciate being able to talk to you briefly. I have a lot of information for you as well, Bill
