My grandpa was the radio operator on this plane. He told us of how they landed in Switzerland. While there he and a few others were sent to a place to take classes. They decided to escape. He escaped across Lake Geneva in to German occupied France where he was with the French Underground for awhile before meeting up with the US Army.
