Hello, I am writing book about WW2 planes who were lost in that part of Slovenia. Do you have any data (crew reports, etc.) or photos of the crew? There are also some book articles in Slovenia about that B-17 crash..

My grandfather wrote down the events when his plane went down. They thought it was flak at the time, apparently it was maintenance. There is a photo showing of local town made a memorial for it.

My Great Uncle (Willie Lessera) survived this event and was rescued by locals. I am looking for any information about the plane, the crew, the event, etc.
