My son and I have visited the crash site of this B-17G several times. There is a wooden cross as the exact crash site with the names of Sterling Bristol, John Faulkner, and Anthony Burroughs. My son and I have found some small artifacts but visit this site out of respect for these incredible airmen and the ultimate sacrifice they made for our country. I work for the USO at Ramstein Air Base which is 15 minutes away from this crash site.
