My dad was the Radio Operator on this aircraft. Back row, left, leaning on the prop. Great thanks to their pilot Lt. Jetter for bringing his crew home on 35 missions.

To Charles Sherman – In 1983, the 8th Air Force Association had a reunion in Omaha, where my parents lived. The crew of Snicklefritz attended the reunion and had dinner at my parents’ home. Some of my five brothers and I were blessed with the opportunity to meet them. If he was there, I met your father. They remained friends since their World War II service. They trained as a team together, went to war together, and came home together. My father spoke highly of all of them.
