My father was s/sgt Emerson D Coleman. Back in the 80s I had received a call from Richard Bing that wanted to talk to my dad regarding any input he could give to a book he was writing about their missions. My Father passed away very soon after that call. Would anyone know if that book was ever published by him? And would anyone know any thing more about their missions and the crew? I remember my das’s amazing stories.

Wow, I was shocked William when my son showed me this. He is a firefighter and they were watching the history Channel about WWII. my son told them about his grandfather, my Dad Joe J Camarda who flew with your Dad, Waistgunner. we met Bing, he came to visit many years ago to San Diego. My father was sick with Hodgkins Lymphoma at the time. they talked about the war and prison camp. My father passed July 2, 1976 after their visit and never got to read the book. I have a signed copy from Richard and have been trying to find you one. It is called Your 19 Welcome Home by Richard L (Dick) Bing. He also has passed and I don’t think there are any left in publication. Possibly on Ebay. I am going to see how many I have because I made sure each of my 3 kids will have one. I may have an extra but am not sure. I am 70 years old lol my mind forgets where I put things. But still feisty and as my father’s daughter loved watching war movies with him. I have told my children many stories as I am sure you have. would love to talk to you some day and share what we know. Hope to talk soon, Jackie Camarda Orlando
