If you have, please let me know! I have been searching for years. My grandfather was the bombardier, John Pedevillano.

my Father was this B- 17 Pilot. Her name was “ Miss Carraige“ . after being shot up badly he ordered all to bail out over Germany . all made it to ground and ended up stuck in POW camps. In 1945 as war ended , Patton liberated dad’s camp and he came back to USA on a ship. my sister born in 1946 and I was born in 1951 . Dad didnt really explain whst he did until I was 20 years old. I only knew he fkew a B-17 , was shit down over Germany and then was in a prison camp until Ed of the War. I knew ge had a 2D deferment had been flying for years prior to working as Inspector at Vultee Air manufacturing prior to the war and volunteered for service. wanted fighters.but was too old so got the B-17 program. He never wanted me to try to match his success and accomplishments as I might not get his same chances . He lived until 2003. He was a Druggist for the remainder of his life, owning two drugstores.
