My great uncle, Lt. Thomas Heath, was the Bombardier on Dolly, B-17G, 231292, which was not his usual aircraft (Geronimo, B-17F, 230642) on its mission to Frankfort that was hit by flak and crash landed in Holland. Uncle Tom and nine other of his crew were captures and spent the remainder of the war in Stalag Luft One as a POW.
