I believe there is a mistake on where this plane was assigned. Per the 486th Bomb Group website, my Grandfather flew this plane on multiple missions. He was in the 834th Bomb Squadron.

Hello Ray,
thank you. I have change the Bomb Group from 490th to 486th BG.
