Herb Gas, my father was friends with Roy A. Hommer, the engineer and top turret gunner. He says he was an amazing mechanic. My dad maintained a friendship with him up to his passing, leaving most of his belongings to my father. I remember visiting him in the Altoona VA and building puzzles with the other Vets. I’ll never forget those memories. However, today while I was visiting my dad, I dug up some of Roy’s things ans my dad decided to show me his personal photo album from the war. I have pictures of your cousin and Maybe some would be of meaning to you or your family.
