I would like to know why the navigator was not listed. I think it was my father
Edward Thull. He was injured on Aug 24th 1944 and he flew with Gordon Wescott. I have a daily activity sheet that lists him as injured with some of the other crew members on the Snake Hips. We found pictures of the plane Snake Hips, that he left after his death. How can I find out if this was his plane?

Hello Elise, thank you for your comment. I had not information, that a navigator – your father, was on that mission on August 24th 1944. Is the serial number of the plane visible in the photo which you have? Of cource I will update the crew list, if we can confirm that your father was on that mission.

Elise, May I ask your help? My father was also on B17 in the 1944s. You mention “daily activity sheet”. Is this something you could help me find? I know the dates and mission numbers but not the full picture.
thank you in advance, tim, .,

Elise, I am building a model of Snake Hips- referencing the damage photos on the web. I was wondering if you still have the photos of your dad’s plane? If so, would you be willling to send me them? I am trying to get the small details (even without the damage) correct. Anything would be appreciated. Thank You – Glenn Norberg

How many missions did ‘Snake Hips’ complete ? ….. There seem to be a lot of bombs painted on the fuselage ….. far too many to count in the footage. … Regards, Dan

Just amazing that this plane kept its right wing and made it back to Podington. Unsure why the complete crew listing on this mission isn’t available.

Anyway I could possibly see more pics of Snake Hips and her crew besides the crash photos?
