I am the Daughter of TG CPL Robert Ruiz. My Father told me stories about being in the Army Air Corps, being a POW, the Tuskegee Airmen and the Navajo Code Talkers. My Father passed away in 2000 and his wish was to be „buried with my buddies“. Riverside Military Cemetery is his final resting place.

Hi Cynthia, first of all thank you for your father’s service and bravery.
I’m doing a family research and found a relative was an American Airmen, S Sgt Paul M Pumilia (Waist Gunner of the Round Tripper), and am looking for more details of his story (together with the rest of the crew).
Do you have any other interesting details, documents, memories or stories from your father that you would be willing to share? I believe he was a POW with a similar story as the relative I’m researching and would be interesting to have more info.
