clipper.

Also, I have a similar picture to the one above. It shows the two Fortresses and a BF-110 and a P-47 Thunderbolt. My father brought it back from England.

My dad, Stanley John Cantrell, was radio operator on the Miami clipper. He flew 29 missions. He is 3rd from left, back row in the picture above. He passed away Nov. 2017 at age 94.

John – I’d love to hear the stories you dad told you about the Miami Clipper and crew. My grandfather was AW Burton, pilot.

My dad Walter R Cyr top row far right flew 27 missions bottom ball gunner and yes AW Burton was the pilot My pass away when he was 90

The Pilot, Albert W Burton, is also my great-grandfather. He brought back everyone in his crew after every mission he served in.
