My stepdad- Herman Grossman- was listed on the original Feather Merchant crew, if I read that correctly, and Feather Merchant is the name I remember from his stories, but his crew must have been transferred to another plane #42-29731 / Moore-Fidite aka Ol’ Swayback- which was shot down on 8/17/43, and he ended up in Stalag 17. My stepbrother may have more information.
