I want to thank all of you for this site. I found my Uncle Fred A Bogar on this site. I never got to know him, and he was just 19 when he died. I now know where he is.. thank you.

Dave Osborne has the location of the crash wrong. As per KU-572 & MACR 1757, it crashed 1 1/2 km S of Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise, NOT St Pol-de-Leon. GPS 50.355574, 2.333492. https://francecrashes39-45.net/page_fiche_av.php?id=2941

I am doing research on my wife’s grandfather roy Parsons who piloted the plane that your Uncle flew in. I am glad you know know what happened to him. The ultimate sacrifice. Regards,
